For the Tour de France admirers, the ascent up Mont Ventoux is a must. Start from Malaucene and descend to the town of Bedouin or do it the other way around. No matter which, the ascent and descent of Mont Ventoux is the experience of a lifetime for a cyclist. Golf enthusiasts will find a wealth of choices among the scenic golf courses at Montelimar, Avignon and Clansayes (St.Paul Trois Chateau). There is kayaking on the rivers of the Ardeche, Gard and Rhone, fishing in the Eygues River in the spring and swimming in any of these rivers or in our own, cool clear swimming pool.

Immerse yourself in the famous dance festival at Vaison la Romaine that each year attracts some of the world’s leading dance corps. Catch opera, jazz and classical festivals in the vineyards or Roman amphitheatres, or indulge in the late evening theatre at Chateau de Grignan. The Avignon Theatre Festival, the second largest in Europe, is a short drive away.
