La Fontaine au Loup : bed & breakfast, guest house, guest rooms, guest meal

La Fontaine au Loup / Patricia Klein your hostess

An accomplished interior designer and decorator, Patricia Klein has created interiors for French "hotels de charme", produced an elegant reception space for a G8 meeting in Evian, near Geneva, and designed furniture for the Prince and Princess of Palermo's chalet in the prestigious Alpine resort of Mégève.

For more than a decade, working in an atelier in Veyrier–du-Lac on the shores of Lake Annecy in the Haute Savoie, Patricia created beautiful, whimsical hand-painted furniture that drew attention from publications like Madame Figaro, Art et Décoration and Maison Française, as well as an international clientele. She holds a university diploma in foreign languages and speaks English and German.

In 2005, on a visit to Provence, she instantly fell in love with a stone house nestled on a sunny hillside surrounded by oaks and vines with a world-class view of one of France's great mountains, Mont Ventoux.

Soon, she was overseeing the recreation of the property from a single family dwelling into an elegant Chambre d'Hotes that today welcomes guests from around the world who find her home a place of beauty, charm and relaxation – as well as a base for adventure and exploration of Provence. Patricia brings the same creative artist's eye to the rooms she designs, the meals she prepares and the care she offers her guests, who return to La Fontain au Loup year after year.
